A new member of the Family!!

Shawnee went down to the hospital Sunday Jan. 25 to see how much further she had progressed. They decided to keep her because she was having contractions and the roads where bad. The doctor came in around 8:30pm and then things started to happen. Nikkelle, Porter, and I got down there about 10:30 and at 11:30 Benjamin was born. He weighed 6lbs. 15ozs. was 18 1/2" long. He is so cute. I'm just glad it was Shawnee and Ryan and I can just hold the cute little guy. You can sure tell that Ethan and Benjamin are brothers. They look a lot a like. If you ever need to rest just call and I'll be glad to come and get Ethan. He likes to come over and play with his cousins. Congratulations!!!

2008-2009 Region Drill Competition

Last weekend Chandra, Miles, and My Mom came up to watch Nikkelle Dance at the Region Competition. They competed in 3 different dances, Military, Dance, and Prop. I think this was the best they have preform the Military Dance. They placed 2nd in Military, 4th in Dance and Prop. Then they placed 4th over-all so now they are headed to State Competition this weekend. Nanny, Porter, Kaitlyn, and I also came to watch her dance. I will be going to watch her at State, then we will be done for the most part with Drill, until next year. Thanks everyone for coming Nikkelle really appreciates it.

New Laundry Room

So for Christmas, I asked Shane instead of giving each other gifts this year. How about finishing the other Bathroom that is now our Laundry room. Having two bathrooms seems like it would be a luxury. It never fails when someone is in the bathroom, someone else needs it really bad. So he agreed that would be a good idea. So the first thing we needed to do was finish where the laundry room was going. So we get started and it took more money then we where planning on so now we only get the new laundry room until we have enough for the bathroom. I really like it, it is big then where we had it. Now that we have move it downstairs Nikkelle, Porter, & Kinyon have been doing their own laundry. With that comes problems with the washer, but I'm sure they will all get the hang of it. I still need to finish a little bit, we had it done but when we went to turn on the gas for the dryer there was a leak so Shane had to undo somethings to get that fixed. He found the leak and now everything is up and running. It sure is good to have a washer and dryer back after a week.

Shane pouring the self leveling cement that doesn't work. Don't ever waste your money on that stuff.

I had Shane build me this stand to put my washer and dryer on. Hopefully that will save me on my back. So far I really like it. I think it turned out really nice.

Annual Gingerbread houses at Nanny's

Nanny always buys Graham crackers and lots of candy for the Grandkids to make their own gingerbread house. This year she thought it would be fun to make trains if they wanted to. The kids look forward to this ever year. Thanks Nanny for all you do.

Cheyenne's Train. Sad thing happen to Cheyenne. When we were walking out to the car she tripped and dropped her train. It was pretty much in little pieces.

Kinyon decided on a house. He has his house set up so it looks the same all around.
He is very organized if you can't tell.

Kaitlyn made a train. She did a great job all by herself. It looks like her favorite candy was Skittles.

Ryder also decided on the train. He got very creative with all the stuff he had to work with.

Porter made a Train too. Hopefully he will stay out of the little kids candy this year.

Nikkelle got right down to work and said this is going to be the best house I have ever made. She had fun making it as cute as she could. She was also the last one done.

Ryder had left with Shane before I got all their pictures together.

Has anyone seen the camera!

Well I was going to post pictures of Christmas, and the camera was missing. Shane had taken it out to the cabin on New Years Day. When he got back I asked him where the camera was. He said "I don't know". So I kindly reminded him that he had used it. Oh yeah, I don't know, maybe I left it in dads truck. So another week has past and still no camera. Then last night at 3 a.m. Ryder's hound dog was barking a lot. So Shane got up to go outside to see what he was barking at. Then he comes in and wakes me up, Oh Honey I found the camera it was in my coat pocket. So now I can finally update.
